Dosa Tawa

A treated, flat soapstone cooking surface for dosa and similar preparations. Its stone body heats gradually and should be brought to temperature with care.

Natural marks, colour variation and small dimensional differences are expected in hand-finished stone cookware.

1. Wash gently and dry completely before the first use.
2. Follow the seasoning guidance supplied with the product or in the relevant video guide below.
3. Begin on low heat and increase gradually; avoid sudden temperature changes.

• Preheat gradually on low or medium heat and avoid prolonged empty heating.
• Avoid high flame and sudden temperature changes.
• Allow the tawa to cool naturally before washing and avoid harsh abrasives.
